For those of you who have been to Friends of Ham in Leeds, you will know that it offers divine, delicious food in a demure setting that is perfect for commuters, couples and friends.
In short, it is a winner. We reviewed it a while ago here and we have been back a fair few times since.
Sadly, whilst Friends of Ham has clearly spread its charm to this part of West Yorkshire, it has not had the chance to do so elsewhere – until now! With an August date now looking likely as the time for a new Friends of Ham to open in one of the nicest spots in Yorkshire, Ilkley, it looks like this amazing dining option is going from strength to strength.
The new venture is likely to include a tasting room, delicatessen, log burner, and outdoor seating. It will be housed in a beautiful Victorian building (set across the ground floor and basement) and I for one cannot wait for it to open to add yet another foodie dimension to this area.
