About Me
Hello and welcome to my Leeds food blog!
My name’s Kyle and, as a southerner who has adopted Yorkshire as my home, I have grown to love and live for food in Leeds and Yorkshire.
During my twenty-something years on the planet, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to enjoy food from places as diverse as Madagascar to the fine dining tables of London, via the majestic kitchen that is my Gran’s!
As you will see in this blog, I like to think of myself as a foodie who can critique but who can also enjoy having a go myself. This has led me to spend far too much money on fine dining and cooking for fun!
Whilst I am a little restricted by a peanut allergy (an epi-pen being the saviour here!), I love to try as many different things as possible and, despite being a proud Yorkshire food blogger, am particularly keen on the classic French style bistro cooking especially when given a modern twist from chefs such as Daniel Galmiche and many, many others.
As well as food, I have a few other passions that I really enjoy writing about. Travel has always been a huge interest of mine and I’ve been lucky enough to spend time in Africa, Asia, North and South America, plus plenty of Europe!
I live in north Leeds, Yorkshire, with my wife Charlotte, our little baby girl, and three mad cats.
If you enjoy this blog, have any recommendations for places to enjoy dining at in Leeds or Yorkshire, interesting recipes to try, or just want to say hello, please let me know at [email protected].
