Check out The House of Peroni at Leeds International Festival, Leeds Dock, this weekend

Regular readers of the blog will know that we teamed up last November with The House of Peroni to bring you news of their pop up cinema in collaboration with Harvey Nichols. By all accounts, the collaboration was a success, and now, The House of Peroni bar is back in Leeds, this time teaming up with Leeds Dock and the Leeds International Festival (within the Lumen Prize 2017 Exhibition unit) to bring us Leeds folk another unique event.

As part of the event, the House of Peroni bar will be serving all of their Peroni variants, along with a range of extra special infusions created by mixologist Simone Caporale.

Visitors will also be able to experience art like never before with the opportunity to try out innovative Tilt Brush by Google VR art technology. Beautiful Crime Agency and 2016 Lumen Prize winner Fabio Giampietro have helped to produce bespoke art around the theme of ‘craftsmanship’, with guests able to virtually step inside the artwork using Tilt Brush, before being given the freedom to experiment and explore their own artistic talent. An expert will, of course, be on hand to help make the most of your talent!

During the day this coming Saturday, Fabio will also host a series of masterclasses where guests will be able to watch him create an entirely new cityscape work live using Tilt Brush by Google. Sessions will last 30 minutes and will take place at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm.

The House will be open for general admission tomorrow night between 6pm and 10.30pm, and on Saturday between 12pm and 10.30pm. If art is your thing, and you enjoy a cheeky tipple at the same time, there’s probably no better event in Leeds this weekend for you.
