Not long now until the Guernsey International Food Festival, and we’ll be bringing you insights from the action as we head out there in collaboration with Aurigny and Visit Guernsey to see what all the fuss is about!
More details have just been announced regarding some of the events due to take place between 23rd September and 2nd October.
Highlights include:
Cigars, Cocktails and Canapés
Ziggurat, Guernsey’s Moroccan-themed hotel and restaurant, hosts an early evening reception on its wide outdoor terrace. Guests can puff on a cigar, sip a Ziggurat cocktail, and feast on some man-sized canapés. Tickets cost £35.
When is it: 23 September, 5.30pm — 7.30pm
Where is it: Ziggurat, St Peter Port
Dinner with Jean-Christophe Novelli
Award winning chef Jean-Christophe Novelli returns to the Guernsey International Food Festival to team up with Chef Tony Leck of The Pavilion at St Pierre Park Hotel. The chefs will create a special menu to be served at a gala dinner. This sounds amazing and if you can get out there for this event, do it!

The Big Guernsey Market
Over the first weekend of the festival, The Big Guernsey Market will be the festival focal point in the capital of St Peter Port featuring stalls from local producers and chefs, such as Haut Maison fruit liqueurs, Fresh Guernsey Herbs, and Torteval Cheese made from the Guernsey Dairy. There will also be what sounds like a fantastic Children’s Food Festival, where little foodies can get hands-on with local produce.
