Avoiding the temptation to dress your little ones up in ridiculous Christmas outfits is tough… so why bother resisting?! In my opinion, whilst we can still control what our little ones wear without tantrums or tears, we need to make the most of it, and in the process amass a wealth of cute/embarrassing pictures to whip out on their 18th birthday in front of their friends.
With Christmas 2015 rapidly approaching, there are many cute festive outfits on the market for your little one. Let’s take a look at some of the best!
JoJo Maman Bebe – Reindeer Onesie
This is the outfit we’ve gone for this year for our little one. You can see the extreme levels of cuteness here.
The best thing about this outfit is how snuggly it is. Our little one wears it over her clothes when out and about at the moment in the cold weather, which makes me feel like I didn’t just spend £20 or so on a novelty outfit; it actually has a practical use as well! This really is an exceptionally cute outfit, complete with a hood with antlers and a red Rudolf nose.
Mothercare Christmas Pudding All In One
If the reindeer outfit is a bit too subtle for your taste, why not have a look at the Mothercare Christmas Pudding outfit!
This outfit comes with a cute matching hat and 3D holly leaves, and is bound to make for some cringe-inducing photo opportunities.
Mothercare’s offerings are a little cheaper than JoJo Maman Bebe’s, but don’t look quite as thick and snuggly, so may not prove to be as good value.
Matalan Gingerbread Jumper
If all in one outfits aren’t really your thing, you can at least get into the festive spirit with a Christmas jumper for your little one! This gingerbread offering from Matalan ticks all the boxes; it’s very sweet, has a cute little bow on it, looks really warm, and is pretty good value to boot.
icklebutton Gifts Elf Costume
Now for something a bit different. icklebutton Gifts is a business run by a stay at home mum. The personalised baby clothes and other goodies are fab and this elf outfit (bottom left above) is beyond cute. The fact that it comes with a matching green elf hat seals the deal for us, and there are handy poppers for easy nappy changing.
Santa outfits – various
Finally, no list of festive outfits would be complete without mention of Santa outfits. There are various on sale at the moment, ranging from the tacky (sorry, Asda) to the not quite so tacky!
Whatever you end up going for, make sure you take lots of photos with which to remember your baby’s first Christmas!
