If you’ve had one eye set on a trip to London this summer, things could be about to get a whole lot cheaper if you choose to fly with BA. A partnership between British Airways and Leeds Bradford Airport this summer will see the airline offer free flights for children under 12 who travel with a full paying adult on journeys between Heathrow T5 and Leeds.
Up to two children can fly for free when travelling with an adult even during the school holidays. It can be used on Euro Traveller tickets booked from May 10 to October 1 for travel from June 1 until October 31, 2017.
Adam Daniels, British Airways’ Commercial Director, said “Saving every penny counts when it comes to family holidays, so flying kids for free will make it cheaper to fly away for fun and see more of the UK and Europe this summer. With so many fantastic tourist attractions and activities for kids across Britain, the offer also looks set to give UK tourism a boost by encouraging families to visit London, the North, Scotland and Northern Ireland for their holidays”.
So, why not avoid the traffic on the M1, the pricey train tickets between Leeds and the capital, and fly in less than an hour to London, with your kids not costing you a penny?!
