One of our favourite restaurants in Yorkshire (and one of the five in the region that have a Michelin Star), The Box Tree, is now looking for a new Head Chef after Michelin Star Head Chef Lawrence Yates decided to leave.
Having helped The Box Tree to regain its former glory, the question now is: what direction will the new Head Chef choose to take the restaurant in as they bid to continue to serve locally sourced food in inventive ways.
We hope that the restaurant continues in its current guise, retaining such touches as the fabulous chocolate box, sumptuous soufflés and excellent main course dishes.
We will of course also be looking to see how Lawrence Yates gets on as a Director at Leslie Country Inns as he seeks to build on the success at The Woodman Inn, a finalist in the Yorkshire Pub of the Year competition in 2015.
