If the brand name ‘Good Bubble’ rings a bell, you’re probably a Dragons’ Den fan like us!
Amy, the founder of Good Bubble, appeared on the show a couple of years ago, asking for investment in her range of superfruit toiletries for little ones, and managed to secure the expertise and financial muscle of Deborah Meaden.
Bath time is very important to us as a family. For me, it’s something I look forward to during the day when I’m at work. I know I’m going to get 10 minutes of fun and relaxation with my little one as part of our bedtime routine. Our little girl loves the bath, and no day is complete for her without a bubble bath!
We were really excited to be sent some of the Good Bubble range to try out with our little girl. Before we get into how the product was received in our household, let’s focus on the important bits and pieces. The products are all 98% natural, free from sulfates, parabens, silicone, and other nasty additions you find in some products. They’re also tear-free and made with an allergen-free fragrance, making them ideal for little ones with sensitive skin.
We tried the ‘Super Bubbly Bath with Cloudberry Extract’ and the ‘Bish Bash Bosh! Hair and Body Wash with Cloudberry Extract’. The first thing we noticed about the products was the amazing fragrance. The smell is fresh, fruity, and really noticeable. It filled our bathroom with beautiful fragrances and I could smell it on our little girl’s skin as I was kissing her goodnight.
The bubbles created by the bubble bath were plentiful! There’s no messing around here; you’re going to get bubbles and you’re going to get a lot of them!
The hair and body wash was really easy to lather into our little one’s hair and skin. It was clearly packed full of natural moisturising elements and we inadvertently tested the tear-free element thanks to some over-enthusiastic play with the beakers!
We also had a helping hand (literally) from the Clara Cloudberry wash mitt. If you’ve ever struggled to wipe your little one’s face in the bath without protests, turn it into a game with this mitt. Our little girl thought the whole thing was hilarious!
The products retail at £3.99 and £3.69 for the bubble bath and body and hair wash respectively, with a one-off purchase of the mitt setting you back a mere £3.39. This doesn’t place them at the cheapest end of the market, but I can tell you from experience that a little of both products goes an awfully long way. I think our bottles are going to last us weeks and weeks. There is also a clear difference in quality between these products and others you might be used to, and it is really reassuring to know that 98% of the ingredients are natural.
