Great British Menu Series 11: Wales Week Preview

Last year, Wales week was perhaps the only week of Great British Menu that just didn’t quite hit the spot for us here at leedsfoodie.co.uk. Yes, Adam Bannister won the regional heat but never looked like making it to the banquet.

This year, we are hoping for so much more!

With Adam back, experienced enough now to hopefully show that extra sparkle that can make him banquet-worthy, Phil Carmichael an exciting chef who is used to a large number of covers (but not having to make banquet-style dishes) and finally Andrew Birch, a huge fan of keeping food local, this year’s Wales week should be much better.

While we cannot ever fully predict what will happen on the show, especially given the twists and turns on offer, we really do hope that after an excellent North West week we will see Wales keep this year’s excellent show at the wonderful level it is currently at!

Do you think one of these three is heading to the banquet? Let us know your thoughts by commenting below!
