POLPO ends its Harvey Nichols residency in Leeds

Five months after setting up its first restaurant in the north of England, POLPO has decided that it loves Leeds enough to move out of shared premises in Harvey Nichols and is now looking for its own space in the city.

With this in mind, you only have until the 31st of July to enjoy the food on offer at the Harvey Nichols POLPO but keep checking in with us here at leedsfoodie.co.uk as we bring you the news on where the permanent site is going to be and also (possibly) more exciting news in the form of what might be taking over the space that Polpo is currently occupying at HN.

A spokesperson for Harvey Nichols has said:

“After an exciting five months, the POLPO residency on the Fourth Floor at Harvey Nichols Leeds has come to an end.

“This was the restaurant group’s first site in the north of England, and Leeds has embraced the Venetian-inspired menu and aesthetic. After testing the water at Harvey Nichols, POLPO is now looking for a new and permanent site in Leeds.

“Harvey Nichols is always looking to bring new and innovative experiences to the Fourth Floor and will shortly be announcing the launch of the next residency.”

We look forward to seeing POLPO come back to Leeds in the not too distant future and will ensure we bring you the news on what will come next at Harvey Nichols as soon as we find out!

In the meantime you can check out our exclusive interview with POLPO founder Russell Norman here.
