Great British Menu 2016: Central Week Previewed

Last year saw the wonderful Richard Bainbridge (check out our interview with him here) get two (yes, two dishes!) to the banquet from the Central area. While we don’t expect this level of perfection this time around, we are still very excited to see the talented trio of Danny Gill, Andrew Scott and Daniel Smith compete for the crown of top chef in the central area, perhaps getting a dish or two to the banquet in the process!

Andrew Scott is adept at cooking modern British food with a twist, so he should be perfect for this year’s challenge, while Daniel Smith should be able to showcase the best produce that we have seen during Queen Elizabeth’s rein (he is renowned for his focus on local produce). We are, of course, also excited to see what Danny will bring to the table and feel that these three chefs should be able to showcase some brilliant food during what is normally an excellent week!

Of course, as usual, we look forward to hearing your thoughts and what you think will happen, so let us know by commenting below!
