North West week normally provides entertainment of a high standard in Great British Menu and this year should be no different. Returning from last year we have a leedsfoodie.co.uk favourite in the form of Matt Worswick. We not only had the chance to catch up with him last year but also had the chance to sample his menu from the last series (read about just how good his main was here!).
Alongside Matt, who now works at The Latymer at Pennyhill Park rather than at Thonrton Hall, we have Adam Reid from The Midland Hotel in Manchester, hotly tipped to end the current drought of Michelin stars in one of the north of England’s biggest cities, and Kim Woodward, who has the pleasure of working at the esteemed Savoy Grill in London.
While we don’t want to make too many bold predictions, we certainly feel that at least one of these hugely talented chefs stands a fine chance of making it to the banquet, though as ever only those who show innovation and an understanding of the brief stand a chance!
Do you think one of these three is heading to the banquet? Let us know your thoughts by commenting below!
