Tonight we bring you news of an upcoming event from the lovely folk at Homage2Fromage. Spoiler: there’s talk of bottomless fondue ahead!
Following a successful series of cheese-based pop-up supper clubs in Leeds and Sheffield last winter, Homage2Fromage is back with its hugely popular fondue night, this time partnering with Pride & Produce Deli & Bistro in Garforth.
The popular cheese club will host a one-off event on Thursday 28th September with tickets costing £50 per couple sharing. The menu will include a three-course dinner where the starter, main and dessert will all be based around glorious unctuous cheese. Drinks are extra but will be selected to complement the cheese. Guests can add a charcuterie board for £15 per couple.
The evening will start with a welcome glass of fizz, followed by a smorgasbord of cheesy nibbles to share which will include Wookey Hole cheese scones with tomato chutney, Yorkshire rarebit with Charcoal cheddar, goey truffle macaroni cheese pots and Yorkshire blue cheese and honey served with figs. Along with three themed cheeses chosen from the very best of Homage2Fromage cheese clubs and served with local bread and a selection of biscuits, cornichons and chutneys.
The main event will be a bottomless alpine fondue made with nutty gruyere and emmental served with local sourdough and roasted vegetables to dip. Dessert will be a trio of mini cheese-based puddings.
