Eve Townson is Head Chef at Eagle + Child, a new entry in the Good Food Guide for 2015. She is known for turning locally sourced produce into fantastic posh pub grub, and is famous in the local area for her black pudding. Expect Eve to pull off sophisticated comfort food.
Matt Worswick, meanwhile, is Head Chef at Thornton Hall Hotel. A chef famed for his energy and creativity, Matt’s passion should stand him in good stead this week in the Great British Menu kitchen.
And finally, on to Mark Ellis. Mark has trained in some of the finest restaurants in the country and is known for combining traditional ingredients and culinary ideas with modern cooking techniques. He may have some interesting takes on the brief this week.
